Terms of service

MazeCFO is a hosted platform for financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. It ingests financial data you provide, performs deterministic calculations on it, and presents results alongside AI-generated explanation.

The service provides analytical support and is not financial, legal, tax, audit, or investment advice. Outputs are inputs to your judgement, not a substitute for it, and not a substitute for a licensed professional. You remain responsible for decisions made using it and for any regulatory filing derived from it.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Sessions can be reviewed and revoked at any time from your account settings; if you believe an account is compromised, revoke its sessions and reset the password immediately.

You retain all rights in the data you upload. We process it to provide the service and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use your financial data to train models.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including where it contains personal data or information belonging to a third party.

You may not attempt to access another customer's data, probe or circumvent security controls, or use the service to store or transmit unlawful content. You may not resell access without a written agreement.

Automated access must use the documented API within the limits of your plan.

Plan features, limits, and prices are as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Your subscription is bound to the plan version you purchased: a subsequent price change does not apply to you unless you explicitly move to a newer version.

Free trials run for the configured period. At the end of a trial the workspace becomes read-only rather than being deleted, so your data remains available for export.

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

We aim for high availability but do not offer a service-level guarantee except under an Enterprise agreement that says so explicitly. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.

We implement the controls described on the security page. We do not claim certification against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any comparable standard, and nothing in these terms should be read as such a claim.

We will notify affected customers of a security incident materially affecting their data without undue delay.

The service labels which parts of an answer are retrieved facts, deterministic calculations, assumptions, or model interpretation. Figures are produced by deterministic calculation against your data.

Model-generated interpretation may nonetheless be incomplete or incorrect. You should verify material conclusions against the calculation traces and source citations the service provides for that purpose.

You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a breach of acceptable use, with notice where circumstances allow.

After termination you may export your data for a defined retention window, after which it is deleted in line with the privacy policy.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or losses arising from decisions made using the service.

Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in advance, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
